On the last day of the Ganesh Utsav, idols of Lord Ganesha are immersed in local water bodies. Made from plaster-of-paris, these idols end up harming marine life when immersed in water. This year, to help protect the environment, Vodafone brought eco-Visarjan to its stores in Pune.
